Three takeaways from the Blue Jackets 4-3 OT win over the Flyers

One: They started the game with energy coming from all four lines, with the top line of Hartnell, Johansen and Foligno able to keep extended possession in the Flyers zone. This lasted about ten minutes before waning and Philadelphia taking advantage. The intensity needs to be a constant for the Blue Jackets moving forward.
Two: The Blue Jackets came out with a dominating performance in the middle stanza as they created many good chances. Their cycle was working very well and stymied the Flyers throughout the period. They upped their energy level and sustained it through much of the second period, even though they ended the period down by one goal.
Three: The biggest goal of the game was when Jared Boll found the back of the net for the first time in 63 games to get the Blue Jackets back to just a one goal deficit. They found a renewed energy that infected all four lines, leading to Atkinson tying the game to send it to overtime. They never gave up, and that was the key.
