One: On the second night of back-to-back games, they came out from the first drop of the puck and had their legs. On the other hand, Chicago did not. That paid off less than two minutes into the game, as the Blue Jackets struck first. A fast start was a good sign.

Two: It's been noticeable for the last two games. Jared Boll keeps other teams "honest", even when he doesn't drop the gloves. After the fight with Brian Bickell, he's now less than 20 PIM's from surpassing Jody Shelley for the CBJ all-time PIM record.

Three: In the third they started to fade a bit, as Chicago was turning up the heat. Back-to-back games will sometimes do that to you. But, the Blue Jackets never really deviated from playing their game. That is a good sign with five games to go.
