One: They came out with good pace and were moving the legs, although they had quite a few turnovers. Luckily, the line of Hartnell, Johansen and Foligno were positively en fuego tonight in the Big D. The chemistry they have is coming together at the right time and the team is benefitting from it.

Two: How good does GM Jarmo Kekalainen look for making the decision to claim defenseman Kevin Connauton off waivers from the Stars?  He nets the game-winning goal from the blue line with a slap shot in his first return to his former team. And to think this kid still has another year left on his contract.

Three: By the final twenty minutes, you could tell this was the third game in four nights for the Blue Jackets. They had tired legs and were being hemmed in their own zone. The insurance goal by Letestu in his first game back from injury gave them breathing room, but it was the set-up by Wennberg that made that goal possible. The rookie, in his second stint with the team this season, is showing poise and his playmaking abilities. When he strings it together consistently, watch out.
