Three takeaways from the Blue Jackets 4-0 shutout of the Islanders

One: Boone Jenner was in beast mode tonight. A goal, an assist and he made his presence felt all over the ice. "He's brought it all year", said head coach Todd Richards. "I think he's getting better and that's what you want to see out of your young players."
Don't be surprised if this kid is a captain some day.
Two: After a dismal power play, in recent weeks the Blue Jackets have turned it on. Tonight, three of their four goals were from the power play. Another tidbit for you: Columbus is 25-1-0 when scoring 4+ goals this season.
Three: Sergei Bobrovsky recorded his fifth shutout of the season. Heâs feeling good going into the final week of regular season action and looking forward to the playoffs. Another thing about him is that he's always quick to give credit to the guys in front of him. Compared to rosters from the past that wore the union blue, this one is truly a 'team'.
