Three takeaways from the Blue Jackets 3-2 loss to the Canadiens

One: Blowing a two goal lead is bad. Being undisciplined and taking that many (8) penalties is worse. Once again squandering the play of your goaltender, after doing his best to keep you in the game, is almost unconscionable. Their even-strength play wasn't much better, either. They have two days to figure it out.
Two: Can we sing defenseman Kevin Connauton's praises any better than the career year that he's having since being claimed off waivers from the Dallas Stars? Looking into the crystal ball, having Connauton and a healthy Ryan Murray on the same roster, makes one drool with the offensive possibilities of the future. There's nothing more to say than... Thank you, Dallas.
Three: Ryan Johansen and Nick Foligno extended their point streaks tonight. Johansen (1-0-1 vs. Montreal) has a point streak of 11 games. Foligno (0-1-1 vs. Montreal) is streaking through 8 games. Is it really any wonder that these two players, plus Bobrovsky, were selected to participate in the All-Star Game?
