The Phillie Phanatic had jury duty on Monday

Everybody’s got to go to jury duty, even mascots.
The Phillie Phanatic rolled into the courthouse early on Monday for the dreaded task, receiving a pat and wand-down from security on the way in considering it looks like he’s got a bathtub underneath his jersey.
He got in OK, and proceeded to address—err, stood before—jurors on Juror Appreciation Day. Villanova head coach Jay Wright did the talking.

You don’t see mascots whose teams make the playoffs going to jury duty.
