The defending Calder Cup champions are getting a couple of tweaks.
"Cleveland" has replaced "Lake Erie" in the name of the Monsters, the team announced Tuesday. The "Monsters" nickname and the logo remain unchanged.
One more change for the 2016-17 season will come to their garb.

Monsters home games are played in Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena. Lake Erie had been the team's identifier since it moved to Cleveland in 2007.
The Monsters became the AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets last season. They begin this season on Friday, Oct. 14.
