The Texas Longhorns football team hasn't had much to celebrate over the past six seasons, at least by the program's own lofty standards. But after two straight losing seasons under head coach Charlie Strong, the Longhorns announced a possible return to glory with a thrilling 50-47 double overtime victory over No. 10-ranked Notre Dame after surrendering a 31-14 third quarter lead.

A lot of Texas fans are enjoying the burn and might show appreciation with a visit. Sometimes, but not always, it pays to kick an opponent that's down.
