PHOENIX (AP) -- Texas second baseman Rougned Odor had three hits and made the defensive play of the game to start a double play as the Texas Rangers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-4 Saturday.

Texas won for the first time in four Cactus League tries. Earlier in the day, the Rangers said injured ace Yu Darvish might need season-ending Tommy John surgery.

Brewers star Ryan Braun was hitless in his first two official at-bats of the spring. He struck out swinging against Ross Detwiler and later popped.

Hector Gomez hit a two-run homer and an RBI single for the Brewers.
