BALTIMORE -- After being a healthy scratch last week, Terrance West had a bounce back game in his hometown.

West rushed 18 times for 94 yards, including a two-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for the Browns only touchdown of the game. He finished the season as the team's leading rusher with 673 yards on 171 carries (3.9 avg.) with four touchdowns.

Isaiah Crowell carried the ball seven times for nine yards and finished the season with 607 yards (4.1 avg.) with eight touchdowns.

"I've always felt it's more important how you finish rather than how you start," West said. "I wish we could've won. The first time we played the Ravens, we came so close. All of us wanted to win to finish strong."

West acknowledged his rookie season was filled with a lot of learning.

"My rookie year had a lot of ups and down," West said. "Now, I know what I need to do to get better. I have to grow up and lead. It's important for me to improve my focus. We could be even better next year because we have a really good rookie class. It's one of the best in the league."

Mike Pettine said there was a reason that West played more this week.

"He was more accountable throughout the week, meetings, practice," Pettine said. "Probably, had a lot to do with him coming home and realized I have a chance to play in front of the hometown crowd. But we have to get that type of effort and professionalism every week."

West said he had a little extra pep in his step for his homecoming.

"I was a Ravens fan for all of my life and I know a lot of the guys on that team," West said. "I attended a lot of games here. This was the first time I ever played on this field and it was a great experience."
