NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) The International Tennis Hall of Fame museum is unveiling its new look after a three-year, $3 million renovation.
The 60-year-old museum in Newport, Rhode Island, reopens Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Rhode Island Senate President Teresa Paiva-Weed, who represents Newport, and Hall of Fame President Stan Smith, a former world No. 1 ranked player, will speak at the ceremony.
The revamped museum highlights the game through the stories of the 243 hall of famers. About 2,000 items will be on display, nearly double the previous number.

The renovation is part of a $15 million capital project to update the former home of the U.S. Open.
