TCU senior linebacker Joel Hasley, who started 10 games for the Frogs last year, has left the football program.
A junior, the former walk-on already has one degree and is closing in on another.
"I'd like to thank Joel for everything he's done for TCU and his commitment to our program," TCU head coach Gary Patterson said in a statement. "Joel is very close to completing his second degree at TCU, and he decided it was time to move on from football. We will miss him and wish him the best."
Hasley is the second key Frog to leave the program since practice started last week. Offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje, who was projected as a starter, quit the team last week for personal reasons.
