Tampa Bay Rays Opening Day: 10 hours of coverage on Sun Sports

TAMPA, Fla. -- As Tampa Bay celebrates the much-anticipated return of Rays baseball, FOX's Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Rays, is excited to announce its extended coverage of Rays Opening Day on Monday, March 31st. This year, fans should tune in to Sun Sports starting at 2:00 p.m. for a full afternoon and evening of Rays' programming and live coverage.

Sun Sports will present Rays Opening Day like never before, with live reporting starting at 3:00 p.m. from Tropicana Field. A broadcast team of six will provide extensive coverage as Rays' broadcasters Dewayne Staats, Brian Anderson, Rich Hollenberg, Kelly Nash, Orestes Destrade and Todd Kalas will all play a role. Aerial coverage will be provided by the DIRECTV blimp, while LiberoVision technology will make its debut on the broadcast. LiberoVision will provide viewers with 3D insight into controversial or tactically interesting baseball plays by seamlessly combining eye-catching 3D replays from all perspectives.

2:00 p.m.: "Rays Season Preview"

4:10 p.m.: Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays

7:00 p.m.: Rays Live postgame show

7:30 p.m.: "Rays Offseason Special"

8:00 p.m.: Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays replay

12:00 a.m.: Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays replay
