'Tampa Bay Lightning preseason special' set to premiere on Sun Sports
TAMPA, Fla. -- On Wed., Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m., Sun Sports, the regional television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, will premiere the "Tampa Bay Lightning Preseason Special."
Hosted by Paul Kennedy, the preseason special will provide Lightning fans with an extensive preview of the 2013-14 season, including interviews with head coach Jon Cooper and general manager Steve Yzerman.
Also featured are new faces to the team in forwards Valtteri Filppula and Jonathan Drouin, in addition to veteran leaders Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis. The preseason special will provide viewers with a look at the goaltending position with the Bolts young duo between the pipes, Ben Bishop and Anders Lindback.
Finally, Sun Sports' Bobby "The Chief" Taylor and Rick Peckham will share their thoughts on the season in anticipation of the October 3 opener in Boston, as well as breakdown the new look re-alignment of the NHL. Sun Sports analysts Chris Dingman and Dave Andreychuk will also provide their former player perspective on a few things to watch for in the upcoming season.
