Looking at a box score is something anyone can do. Who lead my team in scoring? How'd we shoot from the field? And while that knowledge is useful, does it really earn you bonus points around the water cooler? That's why I'm here. I'm bringing you the S.W.I.M: Statistics Worth Increased Media. Let Joe from accounting regurgitate what he heard on the way in this morning; you're better than that. Use these nuggets to gain a unique perspective about last night's Pelicans/Kings game.

Jeff Withey set a season high for points in a game that he failed to make a free throw.

Withey blocked five shots in this game, the same number of rejections he recorded in November, December, and February combined. He and Anthony Davis blocked more shots individually than Sacramento did as a team.

For the first time in more than two months, Davis did not grab ten-plus rebounds in a game that he attempted at least ten free throws.

Tyreke Evans has turned the ball over (30) times in 11 days … and that includes a zero turnover performance against the Heat.

Anthony Morrow is averaging a shade over six field goal attempts this season, but has made 25 in his last three home games.

Al-Farouq Aminu didn't miss a free throw of a field goal (minimum one attempt of each), his first such stat line since Christmas.

DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 13.5 FTA against the Pelicans this year (averages just over six per game for his career).

Reggie Evans has grabbed 30 rebounds over the last two games. For reference, it has taken him two weeks to score 30 points.

Rudy Gay is a lifetime 34% shooter from downtown, but tonight was the 12th consecutive game he failed to make more than one-third of his 3PA.

This was the first game in which Austin Rivers registered more assists than points (minimum of one point scored) since November 20th.

In six days, Ray McCallum has played 181 minutes for the Kings.
