Sutton named to coaches All-America team

The honors keep rolling in for Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton, as the junior was named to the 2012 American Football Coaches Association All-America Team on Wednesday.
The honor comes two days after Sutton won the Pac-12 Conference's Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year award. Sutton is ASU's first All-American since defensive end Terrell Suggs in 2002 and the 11th all-time.
Sutton finished the regular season leading the Pac-12 and ranking fifth in the nation with 1.82 tacklers for loss per game (20 overall). He led the Sun Devils with 10.5 sacks, despite missing two games with a knee injury.
Sutton is the leader of an ASU defense that ranks second in the nation in sacks (4.0) and tackles for loss per game (8.83). He said after last week's regular-season-ending victory over Arizona that he would wait until after ASU's bowl game to decide on declaring for the NFL Draft or returning for his senior season.
