Sun Devils report (11.01): USC still a talented, dangerous opponent

For most of the past decade, Pac-10 fans have been accustomed to seeing USC dominate the league. In the last couple years, though, the Trojans have slowed down -- going into November with a 5-3 record would have been a shock just a couple of years ago, but these days, it is par for the course for this former league powerhouse.

The NCAA sanctions levied against USC in the offseason have certainly taken a toll; nonetheless, ASU coach Dennis Erickson views the Devils' upcoming opponent as a team that's as dangerous and talented as it's ever been.
