What's already been a fulfilling week for Devon Still is only continuing in the positive direction.

Still's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, first shared the news Thursday morning that the Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed the 25-year-old defensive tackle.

The team confirmed the news in a release.

“It’s great to have Devon back with us,” said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. “We know it has been a very difficult journey for him the last year. Devon remains focused on Leah’s recovery and on furthering his NFL career, and we’re excited to be able to provide that opportunity.”

Details on the terms of the contract have yet to be released. Still had reportedly been offered a one-year deal by the team after not being tendered as a restricted free agent just over a week.

Earlier this week, Still found out the news that his 4-year-old daughter Leah, who has been battling cancer, was free of tumors in her most recent scan.

Still, a former second-round pick out of Penn State, has played all three of his seasons in the NFL with the Bengals.
