Steve Smith says he's taking bye week vacation with $5M goodbye money from Panthers

Everyone's favorite friendly trash-talking wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. struck again on Tuesday with a swipe at his former team, the Carolina Panthers, whom Smith previously said "stabbed him the back."
In an interview with Jim Rome, in response to talk that Smith was a "distraction" in Carolina, Smith turned his attention to this:
I don't know Smith's vacation style but maybe midseason he'll go for a stay-cation. Yeah, the couch and popcorn on Sunday watching the Panthers (3-6-1) sieve-like offensive line allow nine more Cam Newton sacks, and rookie wideout Kelvin Benjamin continue to suffer from the dropsies on the balls that Newton does manage to chuck.
