Warriors coach Steve Kerr made his pick for 2017 NBA MVP on Sunday by comparing the race to the presidential election.
So you’d figure he’d have his guys Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry as major players, right?
Wrong. Kerr thinks Durant’s sole role in the race will be to take away votes from Curry and LeBron James, leaving the award for Damian Lillard to win. One of the five best players in the league will be Gary Johnson.

Who’s Donald Trump, one reporter asked? No one. No one is Trump. You’re not gonna catch Kerr off guard.
