A Wire Fox Terrier named Steele Your Heart was crowned Best in Show when the 2011 National Dog Show aired Thursday.

Steele Your Heart, also known as Eira (pronounced Ira), beat out 1,500 fellow canines to win the competition hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, NBC Sports reported.

A four-year-old from California, Eira will attempt to continue her winning streak at the Westminster Kennel Club show in New York in February. A win in New York would make her the third dog to win both competitions in the same year, the report said.

Two years ago, Eira's handler won both shows with a Scottish Terrier named Sadie.

Eira beat out six other group winners to win the crown: an Affenpinscher named Joey who won the Toy Group; a Whippet named Chanel who beat out the competition in the Hound Group; a Bernese Mountain Dog named Tanner who took the Working Group crown; a Dalmatian named Ian who claimed victory in the Non-Sporting Group; an Australian Shepherd named "Reckon" who placed first in the Herding Group; and an English Springer Spaniel named "Zelda" who took the Sporting Group honors.
