Stars sign 40-year-old Jaromir Jagr

DALLAS (AP) -- The Dallas Stars have signed five-time NHL scoring champion Jaromir Jagr.
The team announced it had landed Jagr on its Twitter account Tuesday. Canadian Press reported the one-year contract is for $4.55 million.
The 40-year-old Czech spent last season with the Philadelphia Flyers, and scored 19 goals and 54 points in 73 games after returning to the NHL from three years playing in Russia.
He has 665 goals and 1,653 points in 1,346 career games with Pittsburgh, Washington, the Rangers and Philadelphia, and is eighth on the NHL's career points list and 11th on the all-time goals list.
