Stanford players embrace "nerd" identity after beating Oregon (Photo)

Academic standards at Stanford are high. Probably high enough to qualify it's students as "nerds". Turns out these "nerds" are pretty good at football too.
Last night they knocked off the Oregon Ducks yet again, hanging on for a 26-20 win. After the win, the players weren't done entertaining though -- they decided to wear taped nerd glasses in their postgame interviews with the media, just to embrace the Stanford stereotype:
The Ducks will have to try their luck against those nerds again next time -- NERDS!
