Sri Lanka sees off Zimbabwe to win ODI triangular series

BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe (AP) Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe by six wickets to win the triangular series final on Sunday, chasing down the home team's modest 160 all out for a comfortable victory.
Asela Gunaratne took 3-10 with his medium pace bowling, then was at the crease to see Sri Lanka home at Queens Sports Club. Sri Lanka cruised to 166-4 in 37.3 overs, winning with more than 12 overs to spare.
Half-centuries by Kusal Mendis and Upul Tharanga put Sri Lanka back on track after a mini-wobble at 42-3. Mendis made 57 and Tharanga was 57 not out, and finished the game with a four and a six. They shared a partnership of 75 and Tharanga and Gunaratne (16 not out) then had an unbroken stand of 49.
