Trevor Knight will not play Saturday and Cody Thomas will get his first career start at quarterback when the Sooners play at Texas Tech.
Stoops, via Twitter, said Knight has not been medically cleared to play, although he said Monday that Knight did not suffer a concussion or head injury after being hit by three Baylor defenders on a fourth-quarter play.
Knight was taken off the field on a stretcher but ended up leaving the football facility later that day under his own power.
