Seeding didn't mean much in the Division I and Division II boys and girls state soccer tournaments.
Just two No. 1 seeds and no No. 2 seeds advanced to Saturday's four championship games, all of which will air live on FOX Sports Arizona or FOX Sports Arizona Plus from Campo Verde High School in Gilbert.
The day starts with No. 11 Campo Verde against No. 1 Notre Dame Prep in the Div. II girls final at 10 a.m., followed by No. 11 San Luis against No. 1 Queen Creek in the Div. II boys final at 12:30 p.m. Both games are on FOX Sports Arizona.
No. 4 Highland then faces No. 3 Desert Vista in the Div. I girls title game at 4 p.m., followed by No. 9 Sandra Day O'Connor against No. 7 Chandler in the Div. I boys final at 6:30 p.m. Both games are on FOX Sports Arizona Plus.
Campo Verde won it all in 2013, while Notre Dame won its only title in 2009 and finished second in 2011.
San Luis took second in its only title game appearance in 2006, while Queen Creek is making its first championship appearance.
Desert Vista finished runner-up in 2013, 2009 and 2006. Highland won it all in 2012.
Sandra Day O'Connor is making it first appearance in the title game, while Chandler is making its second appearance in the final after it took second in 1999.
