The state of Ohio can claim two of the top recruiters in the country for 2014.

Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith took home Scout.com's Big Ten Recruiter of the Year while Cincinnati associate head coach/defensive ends coach Robert Prunty was named American Athletic Conference Recruiter of the Year.

Smith was credited with helping Ohio State land four-star wide receivers Johnnie Dixon, Noah Brown and Terry McLaurin along with defensive end Jalyn Holmes.

Prunty, a two-time Big 12 Recruiter of the Year at Texas Tech, was credited with playing a significant role in getting commitments from half of the 24-man class, including Norcross, Ga., linebacker Kevin Mouhon.

Ohio State's class ranked No. 5 in the country and No. 1 in the Big Ten while the Bearcats' haul was 60th nationally and No. 2 in the AAC behind South Florida.
