UCLA freshman center Joshua Smith (head injury) returned to practice today, albeit in a limited capacity, that included some contact drills.
Sophomore forward Reeves Nelson (sprained left ankle) also returned to practice today in a limited capacity. He was not involved in contact drills.
The pair sustained their injuries last week (Smith early in the first half against California on Jan. 20 and Nelson late in the second half against Stanford on Jan. 22).
Both are listed as day-to-day and will be a gametime decision for the Bruins
