An all-time program-best six UCLA men's soccer players were selected to the Pac-10 All-Academic teams. Sophomore forward Chandler Hoffman earned first-team honors. Sophomore midfielders Ryan Hollingshead and Evan Raynr were named to the second team, and juniors Andy Rose, Brian Rowe and Shawn Singh received honorable mention acclaim.

Hoffman, who holds a 3.61 GPA, is this week's Pac-10 Player of the Week after scoring a pair of goals, including the game-winner at Washington, in UCLA's two victories last weekend. Hollingshead, who has a 3.48 GPA, has started in all 18 games for the Bruins and is tied for third on the team in scoring with eight points (2g, 4a). Raynr, who also has a 3.48 GPA, has played in all 18 games and made seven starts, scoring three goals, two of which were game-winners.

Rose and Rowe were selected to the honorable mention team for the second consecutive year. Both players have started every game for UCLA this season, with Rose recording four assists and Rowe picking up eight shutouts in goal. Singh is a first-time honoree and has made 15 starts in 16 games played, scoring one goal and three assists.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
