Sights & Sounds: What's happening at Texas Motor Speedway

As the green flag for the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway approached, there was plenty of activity in and around the track.
There was a big crowd waiting outside for the gates to open.
Strangely, many of them seemed to be sporting beards!

Even Amy Reimann, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s girlfriend, took notice on Twitter of the good time fans were having in the tailgating department.

And our man, Jay Pennell of FoxSports.com, was on the scene to catch these sights and sounds.
An interesting sponsor this weekend. Guess it's better than Knock'Er Up. #NASCAR pic.twitter.com/sGAVJGYgys

.@TXMotorSpeedway looks more like a park on a nice day than a race track right now. That'll all change soon. #NASCAR pic.twitter.com/77khlfPNWV
