Last season, it was Vanderbilt and LSU that met for the SEC baseball tournament championship as the nation's No. 1 and No. 2 teams.

They no longer carry those same rankings, but they'll be meeting again, as the No. 10 Commodores beat Tennessee on Tuesday 3-2 in a single-elimination game to key a game with third-ranked LSU on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. ET on SportSouth.

The Commodores scored twice in the first, then pulled ahead for good as Rhett Wiseman scored after a triple to open the second, as Vanderbilt improved to 41-16.

Mississippi State 5, Georgia 4

Gavin Collins reached on a single to open the 10th, then scored on a throwing error as fifth-seeded Mississippi State edged No. 12 seed Georgia 5-4.

Mississippi State led 4-2 going into the ninth before Georgia forced extra innings.

Kentucky 7, Alabama 1

The ninth-seeded Wildcats jumped ahead with a two-run second inning and was never threatened in cruising to a 7-1 victory over No. 8 seed Alabama.

Kentucky now earns a date with top-seeded Florida on Wednesday.

Arkansas 4, Texas A&M 0

Behind Trey Killian's six shutout innings, seventh-seeded Arkansas cruised past No. 10 seed Texas A&m.

Killian allowed four hits and struck out four in moving to 4-8, while Eric Fisher paced the Razorbacks' offense, going 2 for 4 with his ninth home run of the season.
