The most famous second baseman the Texas Rangers have hasn't given up on the dream of playing baseball.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson, whose minor-league rights are owned by the Rangers, told Bryant Gumbel on HBO's Real Sports that his baseball career might not necessarily be over.

"I never want to kill the dream of playing two sports," Wilson said in a clip released by HBO. "I would honestly play two sports."

When told by Gumbel to stop it, Wilson kept going.

"I may push the envelope a little bit one of these days," Wilson said.

Wilson has made appearances at spring training with Texas each of the last two years. He hasn't played baseball professionally since 2011 when he hit .228 in 68 games for Class A for Colorado. Texas picked him up in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 Draft in 2013 and he was on the Triple A roster for Texas last year.

The complete episode airs April 21.
