The Blue Jackets have lost three games in a row after being the last team in the NHL to lose back-to-back games. Columbus will try and stop this losing skid on the road against the Sabres but what will the Blue Jackets need to do so they don't get snowed under like the city of Buffalo has?

First you need to know what the Sabres are all about as they have stumbled out of the gates collecting only 21 points out of their first 25 games. The struggles of the Sabres this season starts right from the beginning of the game as they are the 27th ranked team in the NHL inside the face off circle. This leads to the teams 25th ranked offense as they are averaging 2.40 goals a game. Derek Roy carries the burden of the team in regards to scoring as he leads the team in both goals and assists. He is averaging close to a point a game with nine goals and 15 assists in the first 25 games of the season.

Also, when the opponent has the puck more than you, it's likely they will score more than you. This holds true for the Sabres as they are 21st in the league at goals against avergage giving up 2.92 goals a game on average.
