Saunders struggles in D-backs' loss to Sox

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- A.J. Pierzynski hit an inside-the-park home run and had two doubles in the Chicago White Sox's 6-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night at Camelback Ranch.

Pierzynski hit a ball that deflected off the top wall in center and bounced to right center for the catcher's third home run of the spring.

Chicago starter Gavin Floyd gave up two runs and five hits, struck out three and walked five in six innings in the split-squad games for the White Sox.

Dan Johnson had a doubles and two singles for the White Sox.

Arizona's Chris Young hit a solo home run, his third homer of the spring. Diamondbacks starter Joe Saunders allowed four runs and six hits in four innings.
