Every Friday the Vikings have a caterer bring in food to feed the players.
Maybe you heard what happened this past Friday, Randy Moss ranted and complained about the food that was there and said it was the type of food he wouldn't feed to his dog.
It was inexcusable the way behaved, and Sunday night, he basically went after the team, complaining they didn't use the information he gave them about the Patriots. He said that New England coach Bill Belichick was the best coach in the history of the NFL and he also took some shots at Brad Childress, his coach with the Vikings.
On Monday, the Vikings let him go.
Now, Moss's behavior off the field has been inexcusable, and his behavior on the field was tough to excuse too because there were times when he would just take plays off.
Going back years, when he said, "I play when I want to play," he didn't stop doing it. He still behaved like that when he got back here. He would take plays off and didn't have a great impact as a pass-receiving wide receiver.
Where his loss will be felt will be what he did with defenses and the way they covered him. He would attract attention, he would take attention away from Percy Harvin. Teams would have to devote two players to him and always keep an eye on him.
That's where the Vikings are going to miss Moss, and now Percy Harvin is going to be the guy seeing double coverage. That may not happen this week though because Harvin is limping right now, and if it's not him, it could be Bernard Berrian who now has to become the deep threat.
Things will change on this team because Randy Moss is gone and somebody is going to have to step up and become a bigger part of the passing game.
Maybe it could be Visanthe Shaincoe; maybe it could be Sidney Rice who could be back in a few weeks. They certainly need for Rice to come back, they need to have somebody who can go down the field and stretch the field because without Moss, that's not going to happen.
What Moss did to abuse defenses and open things up may not be seen on Sunday for the Purple and Gold.
