CENTURION, South Africa (AP) South Africa put Australia in to bat after winning the toss in the first of five one-day internationals on Friday.

Top-ranked Australia made one change to the lineup that beat Ireland easily in a warm-up game earlier in the week, with opening batsman Aaron Finch replacing Usman Khawaja. Daniel Worrall kept his place in the bowling attack after making his international debut against Ireland.

South Africa was without batsman Hashim Amla, who is ill, and captain AB de Villiers, who is out with an injury for the series-opener at Centurion. Bowlers Dale Steyn and spinner Imran Tahir return after being rested for South Africa's warm-up game against Ireland.
