It looks like a broken collarbone is not enough to keep Tony Romo from getting down on one knee.
The Dallas Morning News and KDAF-TV are reporting that the Cowboys quarterback is engaged to former Miss Missouri Candice Crawford, who is a sports reporter for the television station.
The two have been an item for several months, and Crawford was spotted on the sidelines of the team's training camp in San Antonio earlier this season.
KDAF reports that Romo, 30, proposed to Crawford on Thursday while the two were celebrating her 24th birthday at a restaurant in Dallas. A date for the wedding has not been announced.
Since Romo became the starting quarterback for the Cowboys, his love life often has been in the public eye, including relationships with country music singer Carrie Underwood and pop star Jessica Simpson.
On the TV station's website, Crawford says she has a passion for sports, loves to run, play basketball, cook and go to Cowboys games.
