ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys' offensive line didn't do quarterback Tony Romo many favors Sunday. Romo was sacked four times and hit hard after several throws.

After the Cowboys' home opener, Romo said the 16-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was one of the "most physically tough" games he has played in.

He then joked that he probably would be using some ice packs.

"As a quarterback, you're going to take a shot, a big one here and there," Romo said. "It's just football. It happens sometimes. It's just part of playing the position in the game."

Perhaps the biggest hit Romo sustained Sunday came late in the third quarter. The Cowboys quarterback was sandwiched between two defenders and was hit in the face mask by the helmet of defensive end Michael Bennett.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said after the game that he was expecting a flag on the play.

"We'll see how that reads with the league," Jones added.
