GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers struggled a bit in his team's 1-2 start to the season, but when he regained his 2011 form in Week 4 against the Saints, the NFL was quick to take note.
On Wednesday, the league honored Rodgers, last season's MVP, as the NFC Offensive Player of the Peek. In leading the Packers to a 28-27 win at Lambeau Field, Rodgers completed 31 of 41 passes for 319 yards and four touchdowns. He threw one interception and racked up a 119.9 passer rating.
Rodgers' 11-yard fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson helped the Packers come from behind late in the game.
Rodgers was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week twice in 2010 and three times in 2011. Since Week 13 of 2010, Rodgers' six awards are the most in the NFL.
