The revolving doors are spinning throughout the National Football League, with a couple of former Sun Devils going in different directions on Monday.

Offensive guard Kyle Kosier, a 10-year veteran who has started 80 games for the Cowboys since 2006, was shown the door by Dallas. Kosier, who previously played for San Francisco and Detroit, was a victim of the Cowboys signing free agent guards Nate Livings and Mackenzy Bernadeau to multiyear contracts.

Could he appeal to the hometown team? The Cardinals cut Rex Hadnot on Monday, and even with the return of Levi Brown and the signing of Adam Snyder, there are holes to be filled.

Kosier, who starred at Cactus High School in Peoria, played all 16 games last year for Dallas but tore a knee ligament in the regular season finale. He missed 13 games in 2008 because of a right foot injury and also missed three games in 2010 with knee problems.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Derek Hagan re-signed on Monday with the Buffalo Bills. Hagan caught 13 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown in four games with the Bills in 2011 after joining the team Nov. 22. He has played with the Dolphins, Giants, Raiders and Bills since being a third-round draft pick out of ASU in 2006.
