The early results are in, and they're positive.
The most critical early return for the Cleveland Indians, of course, can be found in the AL Central standings, where the Tribe finds itself two games up on the dreaded Detroit Tigers. But the Indians' success is not going unnoticed elsewhere.

Respected Boston Globe baseball writer Nick Cafardo spent the weekend giving the Indians some love:

Cafardo wasn't done there, also ranking Terry Francona #5 among managers in his MLB Manager Power Rankings:

5. Terry Francona, Indians — Two rings in eight years with the talent-laden Red Sox. We’ll see how he handles the challenges with this pitching staff and a less talented roster.

Francona was behind Bruce Bochy (Giants), Joe Maddon (Rays), Buck Showalter (Orioles), and Jim Leyland (Tigers). Still, pretty good company.
If the Tribe can stay on a roll, this sort of recognition will just keep pouring in.
