Recovering surprisingly fast from two cartilage tears in his knee, Brewers right fielder Corey Hart appears as if he will be in the Opening Day lineup.

According to multiple reports, Brewers manager Ron Roenicke told the media Monday that Hart was cleared by doctors and will play seven innings in the Brewers' two exhibition games Tuesday and Wednesday at Chase Field against the Diamondbacks.

"He's ready. He's actually pretty excited about it," Roenicke told MLB.com. "Today, he woke up and came in and feels great."

Barring any setbacks, Hart will be in the lineup Friday against the Cardinals for Opening Day at Miller Park.

Hart had surgery on March 6 to repair two cartilage tears in his right knee.
