Several outlets reported Tuesday that Norris, 32, will join the team pending the results of a physical Tuesday.

Reports indicate that Norris, who made a successful conversion to the closer role with the Angels last season, could be used as a middle reliever, late-inning reliever or even a starter depending on how some of the team's younger potential starters perform in the spring.
Norris was 2-6 with a 4.21 ERA in 60 appearances (all but three out of the bullpen) last season. He had 19 saves in 25 opportunities. He has career marks of 64-84 with a 4.49 ERA in 291 games (188 starts) with the Astros, Orioles, Padres, Braves, Dodgers and Angels from 2009-17.
