Report: 'Turmoil' and 'bad vibes' around Chudzinski's job status

Coaching the Cleveland Browns has always been a dream of Rob Chudzinski's. But has that dream turned into a nightmare?
Prior to the Browns' season finale in Pittsburgh, rumors about Chud's job status began to swirl around the Heinz Field press box.
Reports from ESPN's Chris Mortensen and ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi suggest uncertainty surrounding Chudzinski's job:
There are some bad vibes indicating uncertainty about the future of #Browns HC Rob Chudzinski. Incredible.

Shortly thereafter, a third source from ESPN, John Clayton, confirmed hearing the same rumblings:
The Browns, who started off with a promising record of 3-2, enter Week 17 just 4-11 under their first-year head coach.
As put by RotoWorld, firing Chud after one season might be crazy, but not out of the question.
Firing Chudzinski would be madness for a team locked in a never-ending cycle of rebuilds. But, we wouldn't put it past [Browns owner] Jimmy Haslam to force an inane coaching change.
Albert Breer of NFL Network tweeted that the Browns' front office "had been inclined to give Chud another year, but that could change". He speculated on why Chudzinski could possibly be on the hot seat and who could be in line to replace him:
While the whole idea that Chud could be on the "hot seat" is nothing short of ridiculous, it is the Cleveland Browns, so we can't rule anything out.
Crazy? Maybe. But stranger things have happened...
"Our focus is on the game today. We will not discuss any evaluation of the season until this upcoming week."
