Report: Tony Parker scheduled for MRI on knee

Tony Parker is no stranger to knee problems.
The San Antonio Spurs guard played through the pain during the NBA Finals while tendons in his knee were on the verge of tearing.
With rehabilitation, Parker seemed back on track, but his recovery may have hit a bump in the road.
According to a report in the French daily sports publication L’Equipe and cited by the San Antonio Express-News' Dan McCarney, Parker is scheduled for an MRI after hurting his knee for the second time in an exhibition game while playing on France's national team.
The MRI was scheduled to take place Tuesday, though McCarney reported the injury did not appear to be serious.
The exhibition game was a warm-up for France for the upcoming EuroBasketball tournament taking place Sept. 4-22 in Slovenia.
