ESPN has reported the Thunder are in talks to make Florida's Billy Donovan the team's next coach and now Yahoo is reporting the Thunder are preparing an offer for Donovan.
Donovan has been at Florida for 19 seasons. The Thunder fired Scott Brooks at the end of a 45-37 season.
Meanwhile, Yahoo is reporting Kevin Durant has reached out to some former Florida players to get a gauge on Donovan and has been positive about the possible hire.

OKC General manager Sam Presti has a long relationship with Donovan and the team has hired a pair of Donovan's assistants in the past year.
Yahoo is reporting it may take an annual $6 million contract to sign Donovan.
