Report: Obamas invite RG3 to breakfast

Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III has one more stop
to go before making it to the NFL.
Washington, DC.
On Wednesday, at the invitation of President Obama and his wife Michelle,
Griffin traveled to the nation's capital and will participate in the National
Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning, reports Waco news station KWTX.
The event will take place at the Hilton Washington International hotel.
The station reports that this is just the start of a busy week for RGIII, who
will fly to Indianapolis from Washington to attend Super Bowl media events.
Griffin majored in political science while attending Baylor.
The Washington Redskins are one team rumored to be interested in trading up to
select Griffin in the NFL draft. No word if a quick visit to Landover, Md., and
FedEx Field is on the agenda.
The National Prayer Breakfast is an event that started in 1953 and is held
every year on the first Thursday of February. Hosted by the United States
Congress, the event is organized by conservative Christian organization, The
Fellowship Foundation.
Baylor's first Heisman Trophy winner, RGIII threw for 4,293 yards and 37
touchdowns in 2011. He is expected to be one of the top two quarterbacks selected
in the upcoming NFL draft.
