Report: Marquette, Ohio State in Carrier Classic

After last season's Carrier Classic, pitting North Carolina and Michigan State against each other in a college basketball game aboard the U.S.S. Vinson in San Diego, proved to be a huge success, the event will return for a second stint on an aircraft carrier.
This year, according to the Dayton Daily News, Marquette University will get its chance to play at sea.
Aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown in Charleston, S.C., the Golden Eagles will take on Ohio State, while the Ohio State women will face Notre Dame. The event is scheduled for Nov. 9, and an official announcement is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
The Buckeyes made it to the Final Four but have lost plenty of key contributors, including Jared Sullinger and William Buford. Marquette, which made it to the Sweet 16, lost top scorers Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom.
