Report: Manziel signs with Nike

Johnny Manziel isn't a member of an NFL team yet, but he is at least now officially property of Nike.
Potential top draft pick Manziel informed the world's largest shoe and apparel brand Thursday night that he would be partnering up with the company, according ESPN's Darren Rovell.
According to the report, the multiyear deal will be the highest price paid for a rookie in this year's class. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Adidas - which Manziel wore at Texas A&M - Under Armour and New Balance's Warrior brand all were in the running for the former Heisman's marketing rights despite his uncertain future as a pro.
Nike hopes that by landing the draft class' big fish, it will lead to other ventures for the company, such as using his popular nickname "Johnny Football" in ad campaigns, the report states.
Manziel joins other notable NFL quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers as partners with Nike.
