The Oakland Raiders have reportedly released KR/WR Josh Cribbs. The former Cleveland Browns specialist signed a one-year deal with the Raiders in May, after having arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn meniscus.
A report from Yahoo! Sports says Cribbs' contract included a $865,000 base salary for the 2013 season, with $160,000 in per-game roster bonuses. It states that Cribbs received $225,000 of a one-year, $1.25 million contract.
Cribbs, 30, had been with the Cleveland Browns since signing as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State in 2005. He averaged 27.4 yards on kick returns and 12 yards per punt return last season but did not have a touchdown. He also had seven receptions for 63 yards.
